Riding in the Centennial State

The Pedaling4Paws ride in Colorado started off as a combination of flat (between Boulder and Pueblo) and mountainous (mostly Route 9 and Route 285). It was too hot on the plains and not hilly enough for the die-hard cyclists. Similarly, the 5 day event just didn’t seem to work out and the local shelters didn’t get nearly as much support as we’d hoped. Over the years, the event has become a 2 or 3 day trip that varies year-to-year with routes that get tweaked by local organizers but are generally much hillier than the original. Bring it on!
